So here is my 2010 Rockhopper, with a few upgrades...

I have upgraded:

Reba Race forks (incredible difference to the Dart 3's it came with)

Shimano SPD's (again really good upgrade after a few funny bails!)

New Wheels - Sun Singletrack rims on Deore hubs

Really happy with the way the bike handles now, dont feel that I need any more upgrades for the time being.

Only thing I might change is tires, think would get some good wieght loss this way as the ones on it are standard and will be quite heavy.

Any thoughts on the next upgrade in the future??

Yes, you need to get the graphics on the tyres in line with the stickers on wheels.
This will make a huge difference.

haha thanks, I wondered why it felt like my wheels were not quite round !!

Loving your Orange 5 by the way

Edit: Mate, I'm devistated you have pointed this out. Due to my slight OCD issues it is going to do my head in now every time I see my bike until I move the tires in line with the wheels....
  • crankset will be your largest weight saving in my opinion

  • Nice bike!

You don't read that very often on here! :D
  • out of interest with those rebas ect is the rockhopper able to perform harder decents?

i found that with the tora fork it is very limited to what sort of trails you can attempt so i too considering buying new wheelset+fork so that it doesnt break my back as i attempt harder trails
