46km to go and there's a break of 4 away with about 7:30 to the peloton. It seems like a pretty good gap to me so the winner could come from the break.

    i doubt it personally, that lead will disintegrate when they hit the final climb. The only chance they have is that the favourites ride all the way just looking at each other.

    The breakaway is already messing about with 40 km to go... never gonna happen.

    Kaiser dropped from the break........yep maybe it is gonna get brought back actually :)

    EDIT: Toribio dropped too.....Ligthart and Lang lead the peloton by just over 6 minutes now. 33km to go.

    Have a horrible feeling that they are all going to ride tempo up the climb before J Rod attacks with 1KM to go and steals 30 seconds, but i'd love to be wrong.
