Garmin Start Up

I was uploading a new route to my Edge 800 last night, and browsing through the files on the garmin, I came across the start up file. Opening it expecting it to be quick start instructions, it told me to type here to set a message on the start up screen.

So, I've put, 'It never gets easier, you just go faster'

Anyone else added a message to theirs, and if so, what was it?

    I've set my own background, cropped an image and erased the background from a TDF pic. Upload it to Garmin --> Backgrounds. Needs to be 160*240 jpeg

    Been playing with some ASCII art and it deosn't work, the display area is too small so you're stuck with words of encouragement.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    there are loads of bios menu's like windows on satnav's , just google secret menu or something

    I should really have a look @ what mine can do, I just use it as a sat nav / computer. :oops:
