I have a nice steel audax bike which is four years old. Wheels need replacing now.

To get handbuilt wheels suitable for touring it will cost £150/£170.

Dilemma is whether or not to sell it and spend say £900 on new Bike

Problem being that my present bike Orbit Helium has Campag Veloce and it seems that I would be struggling to get same quality on a new £800/£900 bike

Any thoughts

If you like the bike, buy the wheels. If you don't like the bike , sell it and buy something new (but you might not like that one either).

If it's a decent steel frame, new wheels all the way.
Well unless the geometry is wrong.

    What's the frameset?

    Isn't this a no-brainer or am I missing something?
