Is it really necessary with the new monster ad covering the front page first time you enter the webside?

First time you open BikeRadar, a BIG ad covering most of the window appear. You can't read the page!
It disappear in 8 or 10 sec, or you can click "close" in the corner - but ...0 -
nope never seen it in IE or Chrome or FF.

Is it really just me that have seen that add?
Some days when I visit BikeRadar.com for the first time, a big add covering most of the window shows in 5-10 sec.
I'll try to make a screendump when I see it again.0 -

I get it too in Chrome. Same one as in srensven's link. It's a bit of a pain, and as far as I can tell it's not activated by roll-over. It's just there if I update the front-page or open a link (such as a forum thread, article, review, etc) in a new tab.0
