Having to make a decision between Fulcrum Red Metal 5 or DT Swiss 445d (on specialised hub - originally off Camber).
Most XC with a bit of AM riding.

I've had Red Metal 5s on one bike for a couple of years now. They been perfect, and much stronger than I expected (I came from Mavic Crossrides, which I found pretty bad).
No experience of the DT/Spec. ones. DT rims are known for being a bit 'soft'.0 -
Another for RM 5's. Fairly light, stiff and surprisingly strong. I'm also a bit chunky.I don't do smileys.

Very little to choose between them. Do you currently own the wheels or wish to purchase them?0

Also a RM5 owner. Great wheels and not managed to damage them on my hardtail despite my efforts.
Only downside is the bladed spokes keep attacking my knuckles0
