    Cheers guys.
Torn between this and a Canyon Slx 9.0. Think i made right decision in the end !!!
Always good to see the bike in the flesh and get a proper fit...

Very nice - almost identical to mine, though I've got mine a decidedly more aggressive set up (seat higher and stem flipped the other way - about a 12cm difference between seat and top of handlebars). Whatever - it is an awesome bike, and I'm still loving mine nearly 5000 miles in. Enjoy it!!

    Nice looking machine!

I'm looking at both one of these (in the same size as yours) or a Canyon Ultimate...I'm struggling to decide!

Have you had any issues with the BB30 as I hear they can be problematic

    Hi Redroad44,

After about 2 weeks i had a lcicking form bottom bracket. Really loud. Removed crank and checked torque. All was Ok. Suddenly after a few days everything sorted itself out...

Very very happy with purchase. Waht swung it ofr me over the Canyon was the ability to get eaxt right size nad fit. Im only 5'6" so wasn't 100% confident on ordering Canyon even after detailed investigation and meails to them.

THe other thing in my opinon - Dont want ot upset Canyon owners !! - but i think the Cannondale looks fair better in the flesh if oyu get to see both up close....

You should be able to get a really good deal on 2011 Supersix if you can get your size...I did and that was a few months back...

I've had my Super Six for 18 months and had no problems with the BB30. The naked carbon finish does look a lot better in the flesh. I was so pleased with my Super Six that I convinced my brother to get one aswell.

I also just got one, it's a great bike, I even like the saddle that came with it after expecting to replace it with an Arione.. The new bikes don't have the problem with the BB.

  • Very nice bike. While we're on the subject, can anyone tell me the difference between this:

    Not too bad....
If you can stretch your budget i think there are beter bargains on Ultegra/Dura Ace...
I got a real good good deal on Dura Ace one with Kysrium SL wheels...
  • At 5'6" you went for a 50-cm frame.

I'm the same - maybe half an inch higher - I'd've thought 52cm?

Not sure there would be too much difference..Usually recommended to go with smaller frame...I also have a 52cm Spez compact frame. Have had bike fit done on both bikes.
Fit on cannondale was pre-purchase nad fit on spez was after purchase.
Both measurements nad setups were/are almost idenitcal...

Find the 50cm slightly more comfortable reach wise but to be honest they are too totally different bikes...

are we not talking at least another grand there? (from a bit of googling)

my budget is pretty much sub £1,500 ...

Am thinking anyway of soldiering on with my Spesh Allez Triple until next autumn and taking the plunge then ...

    Excellent.
My size, my county, whats your address and are you out tomorrow night
From campag lover I'd have that no messin.
where'd you get it? Got a weight for it?
Cannondale 50s have 52 toptube I think so would be right for the owner or me!
I'd almost swap my Scapin for it - almost.

Also be aware that whilst Cannondale says 50cm the actual measurement from centre of BB to top of seattube is actually near 52cm.

I'm just over 5'7 and also ride a 50cm Caad10. Cannondale doesn't do compact frames and I really dislike all the seatpost post being in the frame.

I also go by top tube measurement more than seat tube.

Hi Guys - apologies for dragging up but does anyone have any idea what something like this would be worth these days?

Basically as new with all original components

    Cheers
  • What groupset and wheels does it come with?
