2010 Avid Elixir CR hose shortening

Hi,
Have just bought a pair of Avid elixir CR's and need to shorten the hoses, there is no info on the type of hoses that are included on any website, the avid manual says use a torx tool to remove the olive from the end of the hose but these hoses have a pressed in fitting that I'm not sure can be removed or replaced, any ideas?

    you need new olive. the insert as a replacement screws in. non of the OE fitted ones i have changed were of this type.

    got the Avid bleed kit? it has the parts you need.

    Are all avid barbs standard, ie the same size.
