Good Morning Masons of the secret order of the Catching Crud

Today is Thursday, Fridays's Wednesday and as such it means more work to be done. some of which I think will involve me being in Shrewsbury for a short period of time.

T minus 5 days til I'm off now, not that I'm counting down.

And on that note, I'm off to get myself clean and ready to face the day

Have a lovely morning all, followed by an ok afternoon and an above mediocre evening

Tarrah a bit

At my desk, fighting to stay awake!
good ride last night but tight legs from sundays race, which is both surprising and worrying :? heavy legs this morning, so i think resting will be on the cards tonight.

Coffee has been consumed and wait for supermarket to open to purchase food stuffs.

    Mornin' Pooflingers

Last working day of the week for Clank so it's a fried breakfast at the canteen shortly. Gotta finish moving the office today, then it's home to pack for week away setting up rallies and biking with SWMBO. As Pete Griffin would say 'frikken sweet'.

Job hunt's not going well but bacons and rallies kinda makes up for that, currently!

    Onwards! To pig flesh!

I've got some informal DH coaching coming up today with James Green. He's been finishing on the podium in the 661 Gravity Enduro and doing well in DH races too so it should be a productive session, I can't wait. :D

Morning! It's sunny yay....although give it an hour it will likely be scruffy and raining!

Work then work today, although I am hopeful for an evening off after checking my lesson is still empty!!!

Writing my notice today to hand in tomorrow for the council. Scary times!

Need to find a new lodger, mine has decided to move in with her boyfriend.

On the up side, I made heaps of cake so I will most lilely be consuming that :D

    In short: 4x4 ones.

In long: British Cross Country Championship at Radnor and the Ray Kempster Memorial Hillrally at Seven Sisters / Walters Arena. Spectators welcomed at either!

unfortunately not, it's just that in my life, Most of my best work is done under the cover of darkness. I do however intercept all your parcels on my way to work just to annoy you.

I echo the sentiments of the others, good luck. MrsG has just left the security of a full time job to teach supply and it's quite a daunting leap to make. Although I do question the wisdom of telling people on the crudcatcher you need someone to move in

MissBint37 Oooh exciting and scary times! What you gonna be doing??

    'ning one and all!

Today is my Friday. Gotta love 3 day weeks!
So today will be spent frantically trying to get 9 jobs done before leaving at dot on 5.15. Oh and I have a 1.5 hour training session that I could really do without. No lunch break for me! In fact what am I doing on here?!?

    Bah.
Laters is CAKE CLUB! woohoo! so lots and lots of cake will be consumed, and I think I'm seeing THP after that - the original plan was for him to come round and help me eat the cake, and then tomorrow go for a bike ride together. However I haven't heard from him since Monday, so got no idea now... ah well! All the more cake for me!

Better get on with it all then eh?

Haha, love that he has an acronym as a name :) I should maybe adopt this idea! Hmm contemplation.

I too made cakes, but not for cake club for a cetain person, but was so unsure of what type to make I made 3 and can't decide which to give him!

I am working in the same business as I do now (primary education) but freelance and we are marketing some software. We being my business partners, not a split personality

Have fun at cake club, hope THP shows up!!!

Whaaaat! I've just been told off by a charity type for not taking him seriously! I certainly won't be giving to Guide Dogs for the Blind now. To be fair I did stop him and sell him my vision for Blind Dogs for the Guides, where girl guides take in a blind dog and teach it knots, crochet, orienteering and camp songs etc.

It reminds me of the time a buddhist in brum told me to "go fark myself" me thinks he may not have been a real Buddhist

    How diddly do Crudites!

Today is a day of WIN!
Woke up extra early and miraculously remembered to head down to ALDI, where I picked up a workstand for £29! Been after one of these for ages

    Link to said bargain

So, bring it home open the box, assemble and am quite impressed with the quality. When I yanked the clamp open wide to fit the top tube of the AM bike, a circlip and washer came off the bottom of the jaws. Pfft, I put them back on and gave the circlip/c-clip a good squeeze with a pair of pliers.
Well, for £29 these have to be the bargain of the day today... it holds the rather awkward AM bike with ease, so yes... win Plus a 3 year warranty!!!

Other than that, home based today and tomorrow, so yea, I be a happy camper

Yes scruffy and covered in some sort of clay type mud reference is probably required! How to make tht into an acronym is still beyond me.

I hate it when blokes don't get in touch and it leaves you wondering, am I going to get stood up?! But you can't message them to find out if it's still on, because if you do, you are a psycho stalker hmm.

    Morning Crudders

Everything is bright and beautiful in my world today. I've just made my 3rd cup of tea for the day, kissed the girlfriend off to work, consumed bacon (with sausages in between 2 slices of bread) and now I'm preparing my bikes for a day of riding

    Morning fweaks

Busy day... errrr actually it's been crap so far. Placement of horses continues today. Only 8 days left until freedom.

Yesterday somehow I managed to strike a brilliant deal meaning I've got a week house/pet sitting, I get food provided for me, I get money for my time, and I get most of the day free to play around on my bike. Pretty pleased with it, money should easily cover some forks for the 456.

Anyway better pretend to be doing something useful, then I'll see if I can run a lesson or two. I love bossing people about. Then i think I'll try and get a ride myself.

    Dear the world,

It's a nice day and you are spoiling it by standing in your garden with your power tools. I understand that taking your workbench out in front of your crappy conservatory makes you feel empowered, like a real man. Actually you are just annoying people, and if you were any good at DIY you wouldn't need to make so many attempt-o-fails. Anybody who mows their lawn that regularly clearly has very little going on in their life. Do the decent thing, if that dodgy drill you bought from 7 day shop is up to the challenge of your thick skull.

    Grrr.
