Suggestions for a 140mm fork?

Hi - all being well I'll soon be the proud owner of a Commencal Meta 55 Pro frame. Sadly this means I need to shell out some more cash on a new front fork. I've been trying to find a cheap (ish) 140mm / 150mm fork to go up front. It'll mainly be trail use with the odd trail centre trip so nothing too tough. One suggestion has been a Domain which Merlin are currently selling off cheap but the weight puts me off. Seems a bit too DH orientated.
At the cheap end of the spectrum I have found a Marzocchi 44 RLO for £190 which will go to 140mm travel (depending on the spacers inside) but being a bit of a brand snob are they ok? Review on this site was a mixed bag three star affair.

Alternatively I do like the look of the Rockshox Revelation for but it's at the top end of what I want to pay (£300).

Any recommendations for the best compromise between cost / quality are most appreciated .

I picked up a Commencal Meta 55 frame last month and just picked up a second hand but barely used set of dual air Revelations for £150 on here.
I asked the same question on the Commencal owners club site and most said Revelations or Pikes. Interestingly not one person mentioned Fox and the general advice was that Marzocchi's had to be pre Taiwan (think it was 2008).0 -
Rockshox Pike Dual Airs 454's - all you'll ever need! Amazing forks!0

Pike for strength, Revelation for a lighter, more all round fork.0

Thanks for the replies. If a second hand fork pops up at the right time then I'll jump on it, however it's a bit of a lottery unless you're patient - and I'm not  .
Sadly Pike forks seem to now be out of production (or a little too much for the places that do have one) so it looks like the revelation might be the way forward. To be fair I'm likely to put it through light use anyway.Current bikes:

Just seen these Rockshox Sektors which work out as £250 with the old VIP discount.

It is a good deal - do you have 15mm compatible hubs?0
-
Hub compatibility is another factor. If you don't want to buy new wheels then you need to look for something that fits what you have.
If you don't mind second hand forks then my advice would be to get a wanted ad up on here and Singletrack rather than waiting for what you want. Wanted ads for Pikes's are always pretty successful.0 -

could you spacer these down to 140mm ?
i would like to go for Pikes, but they all seems to be 20mm Maxle, which wont fit my hubs0 -

No in a word, however I do need an excuse to buy a new front wheel and was thinking that a superstar one with a switch hub was a fairly future proof way to go.
Like the idea of a wanted ad too - when the frame arrives I might go down this route.Current bikes:
