Morning my lovers

Back in Wolves

Back at work

Back to life

Back to reality

All equals fail today, 6 days to go though until a month off, so i'm slowly counting down. As this is me, I shall commence packing my case today, a) to make sure its one and I'm not fannying around at the last minute and b0 to stop me wearing any of the stuff I want to take. I also need to finish my colour coded planner and print that off to go with all my confirmation emails. I may appear a bit of a lassez faire tomfoolerer on here, but I'm also meticulously organised and prepared in most situations.

Anyway, thats a brief window into my world today, what's going down in your life?

    Morning hippy's and Hippettes,
Been up since 04:00 and to the airport picking the mother up before getting back to my desk for 06:30 for my usual 12 day

Just had one of my supervisors ring me asking about new music, so sifting through the music on my phone, its amazing what toot has creeped on there that has nothing to do with me? i must rectify this when i get home, things like the best of the 80's, Banananananananarama and Bon Jovi slippery when wet

off out for a ride tonight, looking forward to that. until then i will be thinking about my left over burritos sitting in my fridge 8)

    Anywhoooo

VWsurfbum - trying to get the post count up? :)

Tired today, but decent sleep so it must be due to the road ride last night! Knew I wasn't 100% with it, because at the end of last nights ride I got in my car, drove a couple of miles before I realised I still had my roadie cycling shoes on!

Mooooooooooooooorning. In work this morning, but need to do an emergency exit around lunch time as the plasterer is coming tonight to make my bedroom look better and raping me of all my money for the privilege. But I have a few things to sort before he comes round.

Legs ached like fudge cycling home last night, and then I realised I had literally knelt down for 8 hours the day previous wiring in and fitting sockets at home.

    Back to full strength today.
Out with the old, in with the new here.

    Good Morning Everybody.

    I learnt 2 things last night -

    1. BTOpenzone works really well in the local pub
    2. Don't leave your phone on the table whilst playing pool. The resulting amount of porn on your smartphone, along with random posts to your facebook account thanks to your drunken 'mates' can cause embarrasment when returning home.

Todays lesson is so far consists of reporting £2k worth of vandalism to the Police. Again. You've got to love the summer holidays.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

I learnt 2 things last night: pay attention to how many laps you're doing, and I need to get a new saddle. Another hour of sitting on the one I have was... not nice.
Even though my legs were aching and I was generally shattered last night I still didn't sleep particularly well.
Today is workmeh, tonight is baking for cake club :D

OO! one of the ladies has a birthday this weekend, and as today is her last day for a week and a half she's brought in a veritable feast of chocolatey cakey yumminess!! Today will be a dietfail of epic proportions!

    MORNING BENDERS! :D

And what a fine morning it is. Commuted on the R1 again so an epically awesome start to the day.

Stopped with some other lads last night to help a little lad who had binned it at the start of FtD. He was only about seven and was lying in the middle of the trail all tangled up in his Action Man bike, crying awwwwwwww. We picked him up and he was OK. Dad came back & thanked us, it set me for an absolutely killer lap

    Have a good one!

Morning just in from work. So quick read of the new MBUK and bed. Wake up at 1430 so i can ring my local Hyosung Dealer to Order a new rear set and gear lever. Managed to lose balance doing a U turn and ended up with big Korean lump on top of me.

So that will be me £65 lighter  Need a new mirror but that can be a bodge job for now. Luckily the bike is my everyday commuter shitter.

Bruised ankle and very badly bruised ego, been riding motorbikes for 7 years and this is the first time I've dropped a motorbike in such a pathetic manner

    Morning all,

Covering our Newcastle office today and just realised there is a bike shop right across the road......with a SALE on......I can see it from my office window and everything.

    Oh dear.

I just tried logging onto here using my work log-on and password....oh dear. I put this down to awakeness fail! I slept for 10 hours last night and I am still worn out. Sleep has not featured high on the agenda the last week! Trying to sleep with a cat sitting on my head on Tuesday night was also not good, especially being as I am allergic...bleurgh.

The good news is I am no longer injured. Took a day off work yesterday and went for a ride :D Today is work boring-ness followed by a wedding evening do. So I can live with that especially as there will be free food...and cake later!

FoxC, wear 2 pairs of lycra cycle shorts under your baggies. That seems to sort me out. One pair is just not enough to prevent the pain!!!

Gaz, month off...I am jealous! I have a whole 3 days leave to take this summer :( Having said that, the boss and my other colleague are off at the end of August...so if theoretically I was to not go into work for a week, nobody would notice....hmmmm? Thoughts?

says the lady who disappeared all of winter to play in snow! I'm trying to get 6 weeks next year so I can Boom festival it up and then travel round Portugal for a bit. Plus if I have more than 30 days off I have to have refresher (skive) days before I can drive trains again!

My advice to you though is go in and do everything you've wanted to do at work but couldn't, feng Sui the office, sit about in your pants and eat kfc dipped in ice cream, pogo stick around the place or paint the office so it looks like the inside of a cat, either way there's nobody there to stop you.

    Morning all

    First off Gazlar you're weird.

Boring morning on the horse placement so far. Some inspector woman came round and I got in her way lots and lots. She really didn't like me, not that I care about that, I think the moment when I accidentally got her wet may not have helped.

I'm just killing time until lunch now, then afterwards I'll be killing time until 5, although apparently the fire brigade are coming over later to hose down the riding school so I might ask if I can play in the fire engine.

Anyway better get back to doing sod all

    Morning Gits :)

I've recovered from the 5 pints of Aspalls cider I drank last night in the pub (I'm a lightweight, that's a lot for me....). Also managed to get a mahoosive plate of gammon, egg n chips in while out, so had bacon of sorts for breakfast and dinner yesterday - yay. Have to take ankle biter and friends to crazy golf this afternoon, followed by a trip to the docs this evening about my op recovery progress - fingers crossed.

    Afternoon comrades

Went into work this morning to find out we had nothing to do and the sun was out so decided to take the afternoon off, finished at 12 and it was still blazing sun in the sky which means an afternoon epic, 45 minutes later and it looks like rain :-( still its warm outside so it'd be rude not to go out and get dome miles in the legs may even take in Heavy Nabb and rivington while i'm heading that way

I hear the nabb isn't worth the trip. I suppose if its a local spot then it would be though.

Ugh, my arris looks freaking huge enough with just one pair! Did they have to make the padding quite so large?!
