Ripped all the force groupset off my cervelo and switched for the 105.
Also switched the Mavic aksiums for dura ace 7850cl's with ultremos.
3t bars and stem as well.
2 carbon cages.
Just waiting on a full carbon fork, going to have to spray it up exactly the same as this one as its from a black TCR advanced sl.
This is a great bike, fits me well, light, stiff and looks good.
I was tempted by the chinese ebay frames but decided I would rather have a warranty and a little more knowledge regarding the frame. Nothing against the ebay bikes though, they look good.

I have the same wheels but changed the 105 for 6700. Couldn't fault the standard bars so they stayed. And I kept all the spacers under the stem, I couldn't ride for long with your set-up and deep drop bars (jealous of your flexibilty...).
Have you tried the all carbon fork? For me one of the major plus points for this bike is the stability at speed, which I put down in part to the rigidity of the aluminum steerer.

The bars actually have a pretty small drop, Its an illusion.
I do a bit of stretching so flexability is all good.
Not put the carbon fork on, Ill be interested to see what difference it makes (if any)
It's a great bike, I do find it hard to tell a massive difference between any decent bikes.
The only ones that have ever really stood out are the new 2012 tcr advanced and sl.... Amazing bikes0 -

Use some nail polish remover on the red stripe on the stem
I would desticker the wheels too (personal preference) but otherwise nice job

I'll save the nail polish remover trick for next time I have the urge to buy something new, I'll do that instead and save some money.
I really built the bike for performance rather than looks and as a race bike its perfect.
I just dont know about de-stickering the wheels, I'm sure it'd look good but would take a chunk out of re-sale value.0 -
Where did you get the forks painted?
How are the all carbon forks compared to the originals? I reckon there is a fair bit of weight to be saved on my Defy by swapping to all cabon forks but not sure how easy it would be to match the metaalic grey finish on mine.
It looks even better with the new wheels. 8)

I got the forks painted at a local bodyshop, I got it done for free.
I was going to do it myself, You can get paint colour matched at halfords.
I do notice a little difference with the full carbon fork, You can feel the weight saving.
I went to trek to become a bike fitter and on the course they fitted me up, My saddle was dropped slightly and bars raised, I am comfier and no slower.... My backs also in less pain.0
