Peckham to Highbury route suggestions

This weekend I'm going up the Arsenal with my 13 year old son. We will be going from Peckham, watching the matches and then cycling back.

Can anyone suggest a nice route, not too busy, avoiding main roads please? I don;t think I have much choice other than Tower Bridge, what do you think after that? Spitalfields then up through the back of Shoreditch/Old Street to Angel? Or up to Dalston and along the canal toepath?

The more scenic the better, the more green the better!

    come on to Old Kent Rd from Burgess Park, straight over at Tesco (Dunton Rd) TL at Willow Walk. Follow around to Tower Bridge Rd and over TB.

    Minories, London Wall, Museum of London, Smithfields, St John St, Exmouth Mkt, Amwell Street, Penton St, barnsbury Rd, Thornhill Rd, TR Offord Rd, TL Liverpool St, TR Highbury Station Rd, over at Barclays and up through Highbury Field. Lock bikes at Highbury Barn.
