Oh Sketchley I feel your pain. I am SO gloomy about our lack of summer. So bored of squelchy shoes and sub-optimal brakes. Rubbish.

    Rollers tonight. sigh.

Swains Lane hill climb is tonight. Might be worth bearing the crap weather in order to witness people attempting to get some sort of traction on it.

Bit damp last year, but not like this. Don't think it rained during the event either, and I'll be surprised if it doesn't today.

The senior mens competition is going to have head-to-head semis and final this time, could be great to watch.

I've got wet every day so far this week and tonight doesn't look like it will be an exception. Was joking with a bus driver at VB lights last night that global warming means we now et cold winters, hot springs and straight to autumn.

Popped in to see a friend yesterday and today after dry rides and both days come out to find rain falling, it was warm though.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

summer, had enough of it. 37C here today, feels like 49C with the humidity (false Canadian measure used to sensationalise the numbers, like windchill in winter)

Yet another perfect dry commute home. Had to watch some of the still damp descents, small price to pay really for a dry week both in/out all week so far .....

I ummed and ahhhed about riding today - even took my lycra off and then put it back on again. Was the right decision. I even stopped in RP and just gazed over the verdant scenery. Beautiful.

Had a bit of summer over the weekend :) . Last Tuesday morning it was peeing down for the entire 23 mile commute but it was strangely enjoyable, probably because it was warm. What was not enjoyable was putting still wet shoes, shorts, gloves, top and helmet on for the commute home  .
