What is it now stage 16… look at the rankings.. Cadel Evans 3rd overall 6th on points and 5th in the mountains. Now that’s impressive….and if he had the support of a team like Europcar or Garmin!!!!!

Comparing Beefy to an Australian - He won't be too pleased with that!

Evans has been very comfortable so far in the first two weeks, but I have a nagging feeling that something may go a miss for him this week and he'll have a bad day. Hope not though as I'd be very pleased if he won it.

He's been supported by BMC very well so far (IMO)

Can't really find too many faults with BMC. They've been up there with him consistently, and I recall them putting a big effort in today to set a high tempo going into the climb. It turned out to be quite useful. BMC is certainly an improvement on his Lotto days.

BMC has supported Cadel, but they don't seem to have a right hand man for him to climb with (like Basso or Frank/Andy or even TV seem to have).

Have barely seen Big George at all this Tour (not that I expected to see him on the big climbs).

Never! I loathed Botham but can put up with Cadel.
