giant defy 4 forks

I'm looking to replace the steel forks on my defy with a carbon set.

I would like replace with set with mud guard mounting points.

Any ideas what I should be looking for? Will I require special giant forks due to headset tapering on the defy? Etc

    Because the steerer is tapered I would speak to a Giant dealer about what your options are. It may be that the steerer is tapered and the bearings are different internal sizes but the external size is the same (just guessing really)?

    These don't look a bad price but of course if your bike is the wrong colour they may be no good for you. There is a phone number to speak to the shop so you might get advice there or they may have them in different colours?
