Don't have much time for it usually.

But now that Federer is out, I wonder whether that British chappie has a better chance of taking the title.

Or will the plucky Scot crash out, as usual...

You're not alone on that sentiment

If you listen to Sue Barker, Murray has already won.

    In straight sets.

Holding his serve the whole way.

He has to have glorious failure just to be alligned with (almost) all Scottish sporting achievement.

From the national football team failing to deliver to individuals just not making it at the very highest level despite the obvious raw talent.

Who know's though, maybe Andy will break the mould!

Fingers crossed for Murray, I'd love him to win it. Our best chance of a Wimbledon winner in decades.

I'm STILL feeling let down by Ali's army, failing to return from the Argentine with the world cup in 1978.....

Don't we get to this stage in almost every tournament (except Paris on clay)?
Excitement and over hype followed by dissapointment.

He'll be Scottish again Friday evening although I'd love to be wrong.

Ally's army? Our best chance at footie blown away by our usual performancies against the wee team. At least we got the chance to get excited prior to that event though. It has been doom & gloom ever since. Realism has it's downsides

I was quite shocked to hear that he was Scottish twice yesterday.

Anyway he'll get gubbed by Nadal. If he was on the other side of the draw perhaps but I don't see him getting passed Nadal.

Another year of plucky Scotishness beckons.

So, let me get this straight. Murray is in the form of his life. Nadal can only feel one of his feet. But won in four sets.

Not a year. More like a couple of months.

Murray's best surface is hard court and the U.S. Open is probably his best chance of winning a major.
He has to get his head straight first though. He has all the skills but doen't know how and when to use them. His head went half way through the second set but was in command before that. It is possible for him to win a major but I doubt it
