Recommend me a bike

If I were you, I'd plump for a road bike; something light & fast. You'll breeze 15 miles in no time on a decent roadie!

Something like this or this would be ideal!

    Or you could get a Ribble winter/audax bike or 7005 race frame for about £570 with full Tiagra groupset, carbon forks and Pro Lite Como wheels... See special edition bikes on the Ribble website... I looked at the Specialized suggested above when I was looking to spend about £500 but the spec is much, much lower quality than the Ribble. That CAAD 8 looks an alright buy, but again spec is lower than the Ribble...

    +1 for ribble. I got my road bike, for riding 15 miles to work 2-3 times per week :wink: from them, they were pretty good, I've certainly got no complaints.
