FINAL PUSH TO RAISE FUNDS.

Just an update to say the fundraising ride is over and my 100km is done. Thanks again to all those who donated to the cause. You have directly impacted my life and every last penny with go towards help me get to London 2012.

The page is still open for a while if anyone cares enough to throw a few quid my (my team's) way:

Thank you in advance to anyone that helps out.

I've been following the blog for a while now, great results down under and more recently in Spain (apart from the mechanical).

I'll get online later today and do my bit.

    Cheers

    Thank you x 2!

Get on board folks. Even just 2 euro. That's 20 cents a KM!

D'oh!! 100KM ride. So that's all of TWO cents per KM!!

For all the grief and entertainment and advice and helping organize the Spring Fling bike ride, etc, etc - all I'm asking for is a meager 2 euros per poster! Do something good and feel better for it!

@Bikehawk- the ride is from Limerick to Doonberg on the Saturday. Also coming along for the ride is Mr. Greg LeMond. Details here: http://www.getbackchallenge.com/2010_Challenge.html

Still mildly disappointed that almost no one has sponsored me to the tune of 2 euros!! Lots of you support my goal of the Paralympics - now show it! (Pack your bags, we're going on a guilt trip)

    FINAL PUSH TO RAISE FUNDS.

And if I raise the €500 I need to, I am entered into a draw for a free bike - which I will pass on to one of the people that donated funds to my campaign. And there have been precious few so your odds would be very good!

Essentially I need to help raise funds for the Irish Paracycling team to get us to the London 2012 Games. And will doing a 100km charity ride to do my part. And so... if you have ever read my blog, laughed at my posts on Facebook or Bike Radar, ridden with me for fun or against me in competiton - or just would like to support the Irish Paracycling squad, please follow this link and donate ANYTHING. I mean it – ANYTHING.

Andrew, MattC, Michael, Neil - thank you all for the donations.

And to the rest that gave before.

Not easy in these tough times and I am humbled by the support.

Done - and liked your comment Des!

Sure the 100km will be a doddle, but looks like you're in pretty good shape for the games too!

Steve - thank you. It's not the amount that matters to me. It's the fact you helped at all.

Does this mean that if you win and I have donated, I can now legitimately wear the rainbow jesrey on my club rides....

....should I wear a helmet?.....

All the best mate, hope it all goes well!

Yes, but be prepared to explain to your club mates why you're wearing it ;)
