    Cheers, for the comments!!

Filthy667, the picture was taken next to the top of the old quarry next to Hawthorne Dene. Hawthorne dene could be made into a decent MTB trail if they took away all the steps!! How far down the coast can you get on the cliff tops?

Those Mondrakers are lovely looking bikes! This is certainly no exception.

Not far mate, too many small valleys in the way. I go through grants houses on the road then onto the cliff tops and through the dene to Seaham seafront. Have a mars bar on the seats just past the pier and come back....about 10 miles. Pretty crap riding round here. Or i do the Castle Dene walkway to Thorpe Thewles, bout 30 miles there and back of boring flat fire road.

Filthy667 - I thought that the coast path isn't any good for biking, our local area is pretty pants for biking!!!

Thanks again for all the positive comments, I 1st saw this bike when it came out, but I couldn't afford it. I finally saved up some £££'s last month and found one heavily reduced (£800 off rrp), so I snapped it up. Love the bike, performs great, Can't fault it so far. I know Mondraker aren't a huge brand in the UK but they certainly make great bikes IMO!!

Go out to france there every where, but i do love the fact that people recognize my bike at the trail(not me) with my Mondy as no one else seems to ride one in the area, as they all bum there oranges lol
