Hey guys, I'm Nathan! New to the forums, and new to MTB really. I have a bike of course, but only really use it to get to and fro.. although I have made it a little better than when it came out the factory.
The reason I joined is because my housemate has a Scott Ransom and we went out to do a mini trail, and I took some photos, which I'll put up in a bit.. I think I've got the bug now

I'm 6'5, 15 stone, and have no idea what kinda size bike I should be looking at, for doing some DH stuff. To start with I'm going to be on a tight budget too..

Cheers, Nathan

well, I would prefer to build the bike, so I will be buying parts here and there.. in the respect the budget will be tight, as I won't be lashing out £800 on a frame if you get my drift? If not, I apologise, I'm writing my Masters dissertation and my head is flooded with analytical techniques

Frame sizes differ between manufacturers, even between models from the same manufacturer.
    Probably largish.
Suggest you look at a few you like and go sit on them.
