Right then, rather bravely I'm considering going up to Air maiden this year at Glentress

Aside from looking terrifying I think it looks quite good fun too (stupid I know). The only problem is that Glentress is a long way from Bristol. I looked at flights and trains but it's way too expensive, even a bus is silly money. I'm thinking about adding a day or so either side in order to make it worth the drive but not really that fussed what days we go and return.

So is anyone else thinking of going, does anyone want to share lifts even if it's only for part of the way? Go on, you know it looks fun!

  • That looks brilliant!! Not convinced I can get the time off work, but if I can I'm there!
  • Hey!

Can't help with lifts I'm afraid but we're going to air maiden that's as long as my broken collarbone has healed by then! Eek! See ya there!

    Hi Sassy Sarah,

Well Redditch isn't that far away so it would be awesome if there was space but it sounds a bit tricky since your cars already full! I don't think I could get access to a van but I'll ask around!

I can go and return whenever, I just don't fancy the long drive on my own.

Thanks so much for trying to work this one out, fingers crossed we come up with something! :D

    Hello,

I am all signed up for going to Air Maiden, will be travelling from the midlands friday night and coming back Sunday not sure about sharing lifts at the minute as the OH is still deeciding if he's coming up to go explore glentress as well if not I will have one seat in the car but the lack of bike rack means there is no rear seat.

I am looking for a campsite in the area, anyone got any recommendations?

    Cheers,

    Sacha

    Heya Sacha!

We're gonna be camping here: http://www.glentressforestlodges.co.uk ,think that's probably where most people will be staying.
Although they got no wigwam space left you can book a tent pitch for 2 @ £15/night.

    See you soon! :D

Oooh Sacha please let us know if you do have space as myself and Sassysarah are struggling to sort out lifts due to the same car space type issues.
