How do I check if its not a chinese copy?

Hi I have the opportunity to buy a new LOOK 576 FRAME/FORK set from a friend of a friend for £800, I'm aware these are normally much more than this, how can I guarantee its not a chinese copy?

the copy frames dont have a serial code on the base0

Test ride it. If its a Chinese copy, you'll not be able to tell the difference. Hope this helps.0
