Replacement seatclamp bolt

Hi,

One of the two bolts has sheared off on my Reverb seatpost - it's the ones clamping the saddle to the seatpost.

Where shall I look for a replacement (and a spare) - I'm assuming a Rockshox one will be stupidly expensive - do I just go to Screwfix/B&Q/etc? Are the official ones a better quality than a cheap version?

It is an M4 head, approx 2cm long...

Thanks,

James

I would get in touch with UK distributors for Rockshox and ask if they'll send a new one out - chances are that if you're nice they'll send it FOC. Bolts like that shouldn't shear under normal use...

Go to a proper fasteners store and get a high tensile of the right size, don't get a cheap DIY store replacement as its guarenteed to fail....

Add your location to your profile and people local to you could help.....don't and they can't!
