Just looking at these spokes on some Stans rims,
Does any one have any experience of them ? Are they as strong as they say they are ?
Are they strong ?
OR should I stay with the DT Swiss double butted vintage of the tried and tested variety ?
I will be riding Peaks, Wharncliffe and N Wales visitor centres, and the Alps.
I'm 14 stone and a pretty heavy rider,
Any advice much appreciated !

Can't go wrong with Comps, or Supercomps for a bit lighter in weight. Tried and tested dependable spokes.0

They have a very high fatigue strength, but IMO that just transfers the stress to the next weakest link. I never broke a spoke, but I broke a number of bipples (had 3 sets of wheels with CX-Rays and one set with Aerolites). You could use brass nips, but then you're adding weight, why not just use a heavier spoke and save a fortune!?
If you want light, get Revolutions, if you want tough get Comps/Super Comps IMO. I'd not bother with CX-Rays/Aerolites again.0
