Hit a bump, frame fit pump fell out, got caught in the rear wheel and clattered off the seat stays.

It'll need to go to the LBS tomorrow for a diagnosis

First smart arse to blame wiggle is getting a kicking. I'm not in the mood...

the damage is out of focus so really hard to see, But bottom line the frame can be repaired as said above.

Looks like paint only. Relax, ya big poofter.

Run a coin test on it. Tap the other stay with a coin in the corresponding place to get an ear for how it sounds. Now tap the damaged area and listen for a hollow or flat sound. Basically the same test as will show up a crack in china.

If it is just paint work, you will need some very fine wet & dry sandpaper and some spray paints. Undercoat and a match for the top coat, plus (maybe) lacquer. Not the stuff you no doubt use on your hair.

Btw, that is an amazingly sh!t photo. First time with a camera? Or did your Mr Magoo glasses fall off when you hit the bump?

You never know. I met I guy (bit of a dork) that I hadn't seen in a while. He was showing off his Canon DSLR when I asked if he had his diopter adjustment so far off because he wears glasses. "Eh?" was his reply!
He had been working as a club photographer for a year and couldn't even see clearly through the viewfinder!   Suppose he relied on auto focus 100%.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

Does anyone remember on Thunderbirds... on the closing credits... when they would have the seriously zoomed in shot of one of the Thunderbirds / Vehicles and you had to work out which one it was?

Is your bike filmed in Supermarionation as well?

It will be repairable and in a few weeks you won't even think about it.

    ITS RUINED MAN, RUINED!

That pretty much sums up my feeling last night. What really hurt was how quickly the joy of realising the rear wheel was intact evaporated when I checked the frame.

I was like that moment when your child falls and splits themselves and there's blood everywhere.

    Only more so.

Please try to show a bit of due respect.

I think you're getting off light;y TWH. Some poor bugger got taken out by a guy delivering white goods, and all he got were a load of atrocious washing machine puns.

Does the pump still work OK?

Did it not come with a little bit of velcro to keep it in the bracket?
