Just wondering how Altura sizing compares to Giordana bibshorts.

I've got a set of Giordana bibshorts, and i've wearing a Large. Would this translate to a Medium Altura size? I'm thinking of getting the ergofit Pro bibshorts. (As it looks like the tenax is now discontinued???)

I'm thinking of ordering a set off the internet so knowing how the sizings are would help! If i still can't make my mind up, i'll have to order a set and hope they fit.

Or, what other bibshorts are there around the £70 that are good?

In my experience, Giordana is sized very small- at least one size up from "normal " and possibly two.

But yes, a L Gio may well be a M equivalent in Altura

Why not double check with the altura size chart

I would agree, I'm large in Assos but medium in other brands. I say go for medium.

    Cheers guys.

I've looked at size guides before, and half the time the sizings are totally different!

I'll order a medium, and hope for the best :D

Altura sizing is a joke, I wouldn't use that as a guide! I'm a medium in Italian shorts but a small in Altura hangs off me! (30inch waist 5ft7) Giordana and all the other Italian brands are nice fitting though.

Personally I'd avoid Altura bibs anyway...
