Strange Feelings..

I've lent my Gary Fisher to one of our couriers today as his POS is literally falling to pieces.

I feel very nervous about it as I worry about it being stolen (he has a lock) and I worry about him damaging it - it feels almost like someone else being in bed with my g/friend. Really strange and somewhat stupid as at the end of the day its a 12/13 yo bike but I just can't shake this feeling of having been violated :?

Anyone else get this feeling lending their bike to someone?

I have the excuse that it wont fit anyone... but even letting someone have a quick go I'm like an over protective mother

I've never lent one for any length of time

Lending bikes is a no-no tbh. Each to their own though.

I can confirm that being in bed with your g/f is better than riding your bike though. Thought you'd like to know.

    Boom-tish.

If it's any help I recall seeing Emile Heskey turn out for Liverpool after watching him errr... develop as a youth in the Leicester reserves & then the first team, before his big money transfer. I used the same phrase at the time - it's like seeing your g/f with her new bloke. Just doesn't look right. £12m though. Softens the blow a bit.

My MD is borrowing my road bike at the moment (trying to wean him off his fuggoff heavy hybrid).

He's a fat sod though - and I've got carbon forks.............. Bum twitching like a rabbit's nose.

Personally, I'd hope he breaks it and then demand a Venge as a replacement!
