Good comms, postage speed and price. Good stuff!

  • I bought a pair of MTB shoes from Graham Gordon. Despite the pictures clearly showing the cleats attached, he removed them before sending. When I asked him to send them on to me he said 'sorry' but refused to make amends. The shoes were meant to have had only two weeks of use but have clearly had many times more use than that.

'Graham G' is prepared to damage his reputation for the sake of a pair of cleats which have negligible value, imagine the Dollar signs of greed flashing in his eyes for a larger value item. This man can not be trusted; do not use paypal gift or bank transfer.

    RickBarton, link?

I have to say I wouldn't expect cleats to be included unless specifically stated as such given that can't expect everyone to run the same pedals.

The convention is to state if anything is to be removed from the item as shown, or to remove the item before taking the photographs, not to highlight them in a photograph and then remove them before posting.

So, on an £18 pair of Northwave shoes you expected £12 cleats to be included? That's the dollar signs of greed?

    What pedals have you got?

New cleats cost about £6.50 plus postage on ebay, these were well used ones which are probably worth a pound or two. This is not about the price, which was set by the seller, but that the item was altered after being advertised and sold. I believe that's wrong, but you are entitled to your view. Thanks for your input.

£13.49 is the cheapest I can see for new ones. And the shoes were what, £18 posted?

And, do you not have a set of cleats already?

Just bought a Rapha jersey off Graham G. Top quality service, good price, quick to post, good communication, great item exactly as described.

    What more could you want?

Sorry to piss on your whinge RickBarton but Graham can be trusted, even if paying by Paypal Gift. I paid Graham as a Paypal Gift (£55). He responds to PM's, let's you know when he's going to post your item, and confirms that he has done so, even going as far as upgrading the postage so as to be able to trace the item should it go missing when posting the week before Christmas. It didn't go missing by the way.

Please don't listen to RickBarton, I'd happily buy from Graham G again.
