Hi Guys,
My nephew is looking to by his first MTB (med frame)and is needing my help. He doesn't want to spend any more than £700, and the bike needs to be available on 0% finance .
Has anyone spotted any good deals around at the moment?
I went straight to the Merlin website to look at the Malt 1, but it's only available in the 13" frame
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

In my opinion you can't go wrong with Cube, your seem to get better components for your money. Only thing with finance is a lot of places will not budge on their prices if you choose to take out finance.
Try

I owned the 2009 Cube Attention and found it was an excellent starter bike. I'm after a full susser now as I feel my ability has grown and want to do bigger things!0 -

Thing with 0% finance is that the shop pays the interest, so they usually can't do deals on 0% finance0 -

This is perfect. The Mongooses have some shite kit on them. As a beginner I think he wouldn't appreciate too racy a frame either, which discounts the Cubes. The GT has some good kit on it at a good price and is a solid bike to start on.
Would defo go for the GT.0 -
Thanks for the advice guys. He went for a Giant Talon 3 in the end from his LBS
