Evening all
After taking the Scale down the Red run at Healey Dab (not quite all of it), and coming off a few times... i think i need some leg protection (and maybe some training). Im currently sporting some rather nice grazing to the knee and shin of my left leg (as well as some bruising to the hand and inner thigh), so im thinking some reasonably light weight protection is needed i.e. nothing too hardcore (or expensive)
Any recomendations (on leg protection) ?
I also learned that im not quite as sh*t hot as a thought i was, that my stem is far too long for Red runs, that SPD's are not good for Red runs, that my forks are probably set up wrong, that my seat was too high (caused two of my crashes) and that i really want a full susser.
Apart from that, i had a blast.
Cheers

Well for riding trails the 661 stuff are good; like the Kyle Staits knee pads

or you could have a combo of 661s Veggies thats the elbow pads, knee pads and shin pads.

take a look at 661s stuff as well as Raceface pads and others.
I have only used 661 Race and O`neils full pads for DH and freeride but have used em for trails without any probs.
Hope helpsI don't have a bike addiction problem.....bikes seems to have a problem with me.....it just can't seem to stay on.
