As it says:

He names the standard 260km + sprinters and Gilbert recons it's too flat for him to do much.

Boonen also says that the asphalt is super-fast.

*woo!*

He should certainly have a good chance. In the end it will depend how animated the race gets. If it largely stays together then Cav, Farrar, Pettachi would be the favourites, but if you start getting classics style splits etc and a small group ends up at the finish you'd bet on Boonen making it into it over the pure sprinters.

I hate to think where Belgians might put bacon that wasn't for the mouth...

Just out of interest, am I right in assuming that Gilbert is a Walloon, while Boonen is Flemmish?

Joking aside, I think it's more "something to have an appetite for". It's like what bacon is for the mouth.

Gilbert does a good job keeping both the Flandrians and Wallonians happy.

The flemish riders have less concern about that.

    The associated video.

Not sure about Boonen's attire. At least it's better than a "I f*ck on the first date" T-shirt.

He looks like he is wearing a mime costume.

I think the Everlast team need to get a new bike sponsor.
