Nice bike, i'm curious about the stiffness of the frame, my UK sportive bike is a Alu Trek which rides beautifully, well at least I thought it did until I build my carbon ribble sportive, I now realise that the Trek flexes in the rear when climbing or stamping hard, still love it but .... you know new bike and all that.

So I have to ask, is it "stiff" ?

Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.

You'll find it stiffer than the Ribble.

I found it as stiff as the Ultimate CF I have which has no flex at all.

Very nice indeed. Looking nothing short of awesome.

A have two Cervelo R3's and love the ride quality, this has made me look at the Ultimate CF because of their similarities, how does the AL version differ to the CF besides construction material? How forgiving is the ride?

    Canyon definitely my next bike.

You got a weight for it?

Is that a strange cable run under the bar tape?

The AL is a lot more forgiving than the CF. is slightly less stiff but on the rough stuff it isn't as jarring.

I did test a CF against a R3 and I really preferred the Canyon in terms of price and stiffness.

The AL is awesome piece of kit I love it. Stuck my R-Sys wheels on it for a ride and my word what a bike.

Yea have to change the cable run. The shifters came with them running to the rear of the bars so I went with that. Problem is bars are wing pros with the oval tops so the cable at the rear exaggerates this.

,<edit> Weighed on postal scales at work. Just over 16.5lb :D
