Anyone knows what the Bad Bones 2 thingy advertised here is? Not found on Kryptonite site....

http://quickrelease.tv/?p=327

PS It appears the size of mini-U-locks makes them hard to attack?

They're bars that fit across the arms of the "U", both as strengthening for the lock if the arms are forced apart, and to leave less open space for a jack or similar to be inserted in. SJS has them:

Have a look at the video from the link above - they say Bad Bones are snapped in no time... Hence Bad Bones 2...

    Oh the prototype thing?

If it's not on the site then it might never have been put into production.

The SJS videos don't even exist, it's fake. Because the Kryptonite K4, Evolution 2000 and mini EV could be snapped by a car jack less than 10 seconds as seen live on KTVU Channel 2, KPIX Channel 5 and KRON Channel 4, all San Francisco Bay Area news stations. They were unable to break them on live TV. Stop believing Kryptonite lies, they've been sued in a class action suit.

The only way to snap the Bones is by using 2ft bolt cutters, but those aren't used to break the lock, so basically you need two tools to break the lock instead of one. And if the Bones are used properly, there won't be space for this size bolt cutter or longer to get the leverage on the 1035 cold rolled surface hardened steel.

Can't believe the lies people push. Disgraceful.
