It's ludicrously capable! Pretty as well =) How do you get on with the RP2 shock mate?

Not to bad running it at 255psi it just doesn't like me getting out of the saddle on the climbs.
  • btw i like the fish eye lense on the first pic  8)

Very nice. Looks great in black.
It took me a while too choose between the Trance & Reign, decided on the Reign & then found that everywhere had sold out! Found the Reign surprisingly good for xc riding, climbs very well for a 6" full sus bike.
I might get a Reign X next year, enjoying a Trance X for now.
Reign frame looks almost identical to the Trance X.

Yeah the Trance is great was definitely an option especially for XC stuff. I just felt like the reign would let me have more 'play time' if you get me, although a Reign X would be even better for jumps and drops! :D

I'm finding that the Trance X can take a lot of abuse & is as fast as anything on trail centre descents though maybe just a little twitchy over rocks & roots due to the steep geometry. I'm sure the Reign would ggive even more confidence. I'm thinking the Reign X would be ideal for the megavalanche and some mini downhill racing.
It's the meastro suspension which really makes me want another Giant full.

Ha yeah for sure, I ride with a guy who's got an Anthem X and he rides faster and bigger than me, he's an ex hardcore DHer though so he rides everything like he stole it lol! He managed to loosen every spoke on his rear wheel the other day though doing big jumps >_< Boo for budget wheelsets!

Well I wouldn't be me if I didn't query that, reputation to uphold and what not, and because it winds people up! A load of friends have just got 2011 Anthem Advanced SL 1s, I weighed them all between 22.9 and 24lbs, the lightest had ZTR Podium wheels on it. Just saying like, still a nice bike :-)

Fair play, I don't have digital only mechanical scales they reads under 24lbs currently without tubeless (although super light tubes) Maybe your mates were running Giant fInishing kit still =P
