Amazing really, the Labour council here spends a fortune putting it in then the new Tory council wants to spend a fortune taking it out.
Surely there are better ways to spend money than this or are the old dears that live down that way so very vocal that they can't park right outside their house that their whinges overcome all common sense.
Probably the only cycle lane in Brighton and Hove that either isn't a car park or unusable due to the odd idea that peds and cycles sharing a tiny pavement space will ever work.
This nonsense makes me very very grumpy. :x0 -

It's like the congestion charge in London, Ken Livingstone paid for the Western extension to be installed and then Boris is paying for it to be removed. Apparently each of the cameras on the streets at the perimeter of the zone costs a couple of hundred thou and then there's installation etc etc and now the entire process has to be reversed. Great use of millions of pounds of taxpayers money....Do not write below this line. Office use only.0
