headset advice

Some advice needed, I went for a ride today and i noticed that when turning the handbars there was a clicking sound, the clicking sound only appears when handlebars are turned side to side. is sound like is is coming from the headset just above the forks but there is no play in the forks. the sound appear to be getting more frequent. I have a semi intergrated headset thats tapered.
