Hi guys,

Many of you will agree that wheels are the second most important bike part after the frame. if you want something really good you need to spend more than 1000$.
Question: would you rent a set of lets say crossmax slr for about 150$ for the race weekend?
Thanks for your answer.
cheers

Not wanting to be negative, but i think thats a daft idea, particularly using SLRs as the example!

Tune Prince/Princess on AX Lightness tub rims ie the sort of wheelset way out of most people's reach then maybe, but I still wouldn't pay anywhere near $150 myself - I don't think many people would want to throw that at something so trivial. If they were prepared to blow that sort of money on race equipment surely they'd buy their own wheels far lighter than Crossmax.

Not sure I'd pay $150 to have heavier wheels on my bike.:lol::lol:

Therein being the problem with SLRs - they're built to be a tough wheel, and are not at all light, not really a race wheel.
