So what's a "Reliability Ride"
Reliability rides are traditional early season non-competitive training events similar to an Audax ride in format. At signing-on, you decide how long it will take you to ride around the course, and if you complete the event within your chosen time band, you receive a certificate. Some of the rides are route-marked, others will provide you with a route sheet to navigate yourself around the course.

Just a reminder that the series starts this weekend
  • Definately up for the Harp Hilly Hundred - it's a classic. I'm going like sh*t but still will be a good laugh, well, except for Whipsnade .... errr

Just a quick thanks to the Edgware RC boys for organising today's ride - nice route, with good signage. Helpful southerly wind on the way out, but which made it quite tough in parts on the return. Luckily the forecast heavy rain held off and I only had light rain in parts. Managed to get round ok, despite recovering from a cold.

enjoyed this today, despite the freezing rain for the last 20 miles. Well organised, good route, great cakes and refreshments before and after. Will be back for more next year for sure :D

Thanks BigPickle - glad you enjoyed it. Another really good turnout, might need to upgrade to a larger hall for 2012!

Shame about the runners on the Ringshall-Nettleden road, casued a few dodgy moments with oncoming cars. We moved forward a week this year to avoid a clash with the Berkhamsted half marathon and ended up with another running event on the same piece of road instead. Will have to do more research on the running websites for next year.

Thanks to everyone that supported the events again this year.
