Because you cannot fit disk brakes to a road bike (yet)

It rides really well, very compfy and feels very solid.

    Noooo

    It belongs on the trails!

You could have bought a Cotic Road Rat, will fit discs, 700c or 26" wheels, guards, racks....

Its bound to feel solid its an orange frame! I want an orange frame myself although I do have to agree with what andy B said purely because I am a mtber myself. But you've been creative and have come up with something that works quite well! Good on ya :)

Cotic Road Rat are not big enough, as are many frames !

I have another bike for the trails, but wanted something solid and reliable for commuting. Also I wanted to have as many common parts as resonably possible, such as 26" wheels, so I only have to keep a small selection of spares.

A 21' frame, with a long top tube, and a 400mm seat post is the minimum I can ride !
  • Looks great - have you used some sort of extension piece to connect the front mudguard to the fork? If so, where did you get it? Cheers.
