KiloToGo sportive as a fundraiser

Hi,
I'm doing a KiloToGo sportive later in the year, and was thinking of turning it into a fund raising ride. Do other people do this, or is it against the T&C's? Don't know if it affects insurance or anything.
I've mailed KiloToGo about it, but was just wondering if anyone else had done this before.

So nobody has ever raised money for charity by taking park in a sportive?

Some sportives are charity fundraisers anyway, eg. Fred Whitton usually raises money for mountain rescue and Raynor fund, Polka Dot for Christies, and they give you a sponsor form when you enter.
But you've paid your entry fee, so if you want to raise money for that charity, another charity, or no charity at all, up to you.
