hi

Was wondering if there was any Mountain Bike clubs in Lanarkshire, Scotland that catered for younger bikers as well as the parents. My 12year old lad and myself are keen to get involved

  • The Glasgow Riderz isn't to far from you. We're based in Bellahouston park and meet on Saturday mornings 10-12 check out our website for more info and contact details. We also organise dirt crit race series over the summer and there are regular additional mtb and track training in the summer during the week with SC coaches. for the older kids interested in racing. So whatever your kid's ambitions we'll cater for it

Age ranges from 5-16 and ability ranges from novice to competitive racing at regional level.

we focus mainly on MTB and track though a few of the kids are now branching into road cycling also. The weather usually decides which we do. If it's wet we'll take the kids to Pollok park MTB routes and if dry we'll do track in the park.

Really great bunch of kids and coaches are all SC qualified. We are also Go Ride Accredited.

Get in touch and when the club starts up again (usually March or April) come along. We have mtb bikes and track bikes for the kids to use.

Should add this is an U16 club though parents are always more than welcome to become more involved

    Hope that helps

Enough bikes to open a bike shop but always room for one more...
