SRAM/Shimano chainset compatibility.
I've built up a bike from parts using SRAM Force stuff. I'm now after a chainset with 170mm crank arms (Force/Rival) and for the life of me I can't find anything that isnt over priced.
Will a Shimano Chainset fit easily enough (105/Ultegra)?
Any suggestions on what else will be easily compatible would be greatly appreciated. As much as it's considered a taboo would Campag fit?
Thanks for any help.

As long as you use a Shimano compatible HT2 BB then you'll be fine.
Truvativ Elita is a good budget c/set that uses SRAM cups but might be a bit too budget for you.
Also have a look at SRAM Apex...

TBH any chainset will do the job as long as you buy the correct BB to go with it (and it fits your BB shell).0

no reason why a shimano bb/chainset wouldnt drive a SRAM chain, cassette, deraileurs etc.
The only thing not interchangeable is trying to mix Shimano/Sram shifters/deraileurs.0 -

ot, i'm surprised that a 147mm q factor is considered low now.0
