Juicy 3 hose replacement

Right, so the hose on the rear brake on the Juicy 3SLs that I bought is too short for the bike, so I'm going to need to replace it.

Going to get one of the Epic Avid bleed kits from eBay, and apart from the hose I'm guessing I'll need two of the Avid hose barb and compression olive kits from Merlin, correct?

Can I use any white hose, like the Superstars stuff, or does it need to be Avid-specific, and what's the cheapest place to get 2m of white hose?

Are the compression fittings the same at both ends of the hose or are caliper and lever ends different?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm new to modern kit! Cheers :)

  • Never mind - bought hose and fittings from Superstar - just hope they're correct!

    Cheers for the advice :)

Was just about to recommend superstar stuff =-)
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?
