Road rims on a MTB frame?

I'm just wondering if I can fit road rims (as in 700C) to my 2010 rockhopper?

I am under the impression that they are slightly bigger in diameter, but is this offset by the depth of the tyre?

yes they can but you will need to get suitable hubs.

  • Cheers for the quick reply,

Is it just the number of spokes that is the suitability or is it something more in depth?

I thought I would be able to string road rims to MTB hubs???

the hubs are different widths at the rear.
