Ride for next week will be on Saturday the 29th meeting at BigPeaks car park in Ashburton postcode for BigPeaks is TQ13 7UP
Meet at 10am we will be doing part of the Devon Dirt 2011 ride

    just a note this ride will be about 25 miles but maybe 35 if we are all feeling up to it so bring food and plenty of drink(not the alcoholic stuff but maybe needed after lol)

  • weather looks dry tomorrow but starting off cold,zero degrees rising to the heights of 5 degrees by the afternoon. Long tights for me then!

    A nice day out! Bit nippy at times and a couple of dodgy moments on ice but a good look at part of the DD course.
    Thanks Andy for organising the route. Hope your knee is OK and you got back safely. We were a bit concerned that your car was still at Big Peaks when we got back.

    Hi Mike
    was good to meet you today it was a bit nippy out in the open
    I got back ok I got a lift from Heathfield to Ashburton and got my car about 1pm it was ok riding down the hill from Haytor, pedal was still clicking away but my knee is fine
    I have a quick look and it looks like the end of the spring is broken in the pedal and there is a bit of metal jammed under the cleat so that could be the problem
    I will look into the XT pedals this week and order some of them
