fitting deda zero 1 stem to 3t ergonova bar.

anyone done this before as the clamp is around 5mm open after torquing. check makers website and the stem is 31.7 and the bars 31.8. Have I schoolboy it and the parts don't go together?

    Should always be a gap when the bars are torqued up. In fact the gaps should be equal.

    Gaps at the top and bottom are a good thing. It's only a problem if there's a gap on the rounded sections which grip the bar.

    31.7 and 31.8 are compatible
