Could anyone recommend a decent B&B in the area of the event that would be bike friendly? I've been searching on TripAdvisor but they all seem to be large hotels. Wanting to stay the night before and maybe the night of the event.

A few in Innerleithen and the Tweed Vally are geared up for MTBers. Have a Google and also look for Innerhaven.

Yeah cheers I know about the camping, just thinking I'm not the heaviest sleeper and I wouldn't fancy being up all night and then doing a six hour race
