hi all,
Ive got a front and rear mudguard on my mountain bike, it recently fell over
and the fall cracked the front mudguard. So i went to get a replacement on the net and they all come with straps instead of bolts or screws like my current one. I dont like the straps because my bikes white and the straps look a bit naff. Is there a way around this??

A crud catcher has holes for bolts and straps, but I think Genesis use a diferrent company so the width may be different. AFAIK almost all downtube mounted guards have bolt holes though, so maybe there's a standard.0

Have you considered a Mucky Nutz Fender Bender?
They're brilliant at keeping gunk out of your eyes, are nice and discreet, and mine came with white velcro.. problem solved

Just buy new front mudguard and keep the bolts incase there aren't any with the new one, simples. They all have holes for bolts.0 -

+1, the pair together are great. I'd always assumed a lot of the muck that went in my face was coming straight up off the wheel in front of the forks, but no. Mostly between the lowers and the crown.0 -

I don't see your point.. I'm a MTB'er, not a Roadie, I like to get dirty. So long as I can see where I'm going, thats all that matters! :P

I just got one and i cant get it to fit!! it seems there isnt enough clearence between the tyre and the brace bit on the forks 0
