Changing Stem

This is the stem i currently have, which came with my bike.
In the CRC sale, i am think of either getting this

Since i have not much of an idea about bike components, I was wondering wether either of these stems would fit onto my bike with any adjustments?

it all depends on the stack heights.
you may need to add or remove spacers.
also get the correct size for your fork and bars."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

The current issue (118 Feb 2011) of What Mountain Bike magazine has a comparison test of stems. Most are in a different price bracket from the two you are looking at, but worth the read.
The winners were...
Best XC stem = Ritchey WCS 4Axis
Best trail/AM stem = Hope AM0 -
Aha, might of found the answer. On looking throught the other fisher bikes some of them say the stem is oversize, which i think is 31.8mm.
Mine does not say OS or oversize so it must be 25.4mm?0 -

Hope you got the right one. The one you linked to, which you say is the one you have at the moment, clearly says 31.8, sometimes called oversize.I don't do smileys.
